~myprrrecious has just about everything down. One thing I'd like to point out that they missed was the lighting. I don't know the context behind this, whether you drew it or just photographed it, but light, light, light. It is too dark to make out the details in the blacks spectrum which is a big detraction from your piece. If you drew this, try fiddling with the settings on your camera a bit and take it again. If not, photoshop and cameraRAW are great tools to fix lighting issues. If neither of those tools are available for you (I don't own my own copy of the Adobe CS suite) then I would suggest looking up freeware options to fix lighting. These points, however, don't really apply if the point was to take it in the dark to emphasise the idea of censorship, then I really don't know what to say about lighting. Generally when trying to take in low-light situations, I find it better to shoot in B&W. That generally provides the desired effect better than in colour. Anyway, I've ranted enough on this. Now, adhering strictly to the category in which this was labelled (photography), I will continue my critique and justify my scoring. Besides the lighting, I find it interesting that there is an inverse cross on Jesus' forehead and that your cropping has generally applied composition techniques like the inclusion of the hands but hasn't cut out important bits like the halo. As for originality, I gave you three and a half stars simply because I've seen several photos in various journals and documentaries with photos similar if not exactly the same as this, so it's not totally original, but due to the obscurity of the photography, it's still somewhat original. As for your technique, because the photo is so underexposed, I could not give a high score to it. Your technique in the composition was phenomenally well done, but light is the most important part of photography, and it just doesn't have enough of it. As for the impact, I'm going to give you four and a half out of five because this is a significant problem in today's world. There are still countries out there where accepting the Christian faith is a capital offence, and this artwork clearly describes the almost dogmatic approach of most people toward the blind hatred of other cultures, people, and religions. Being someone who strongly believes in the equality of everyone and the free flow of information and ideas, things like this symbolise a lot to me. So well done on that. As for Vision: four stars. The way you took this photo head-on, to me, symbolises a direct confrontation of a widespread problem. Now, you may not be the kind of person confront a problem head on, but the photo is inspiring for people to tackle the injustices of the world. So the way you viewed and took this image, to me, deserves at least four stars.
Overall this is a decent photo, but my final comment is light, light, light.
